Questions Feed Your Family

Updated: Dec 28, 2018

This statement was given at a Sales Training course I participated in a while back. The speaker then went on to say, "While asking questions is what allows you to meet the needs of your customers, I dare say we all spend more time following our favorite sports teams then considering and crafting the questions we will ask."

Whether you are in a sales profession or not, questions truly are keys that unlock the doors of your success. Imagine being able to ask someone the exact right questions that gives you the key insight needed to help them solve their biggest problem. How valuable would knowing what questions to ask be to you AND them?

My first challenge to you today:

Carve out time each week (1 hr a week) and work on the questions you will ask your customers, prospects, management team, well as your family and friends. Spend time doing the work of crafting the right questions to ask in the right situations.

The second challenge for you this week is to answer the following questions:

Why are you doing what you are doing?

How do you do it better than anyone else?

What do those who work with you receive from you that is of real value to them?

If you knew you could not fail, what would you attempt today?

What does success look like, smell like, taste like, sound like and feel like to you?

If today was all you had, who (specifically) do you need to tell that you love... appreciate... respect... admire...them?

What is stopping you from letting them know TODAY?

Last, take some time this week to watch this 6 minute YouTube clip of an amazing commencement speech that will truly challenge you and give you 5 essential questions.  (YouTube Link Below)

Here's to the power of questions in our lives!
